      Redford Interfaith Relief 
VOLUNTEERS - come join us, put feet to your faith!
Redford Interfaith Relief operates successfully because of dedicated volunteers who are involved in delivering services:

Receive, check in, and shelf food donations
Organize clothing donations
Do office work, including data entering
Answer telephone and do filing
Assist customers as they come for services!
Help where needed

QUALIFICATIONS OF A VOLUNTEER

Understand that we are an interfaith organization, and support the mission of Redford Interfaith Relief.
Ability to work with people and as part of a team.

Remember: RIR depends on the contributions of volunteers who believe in the importance of these services and want to share in helping their neighbors.



HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Come to the office and complete a Volunteer Application Form. Receive an orientation to our organization and become familiar with our service areas. Either at the time of your visit or through a follow-up contact you will be scheduled for a specific day and time.

Our greatest need for new volunteers is on Tuesdays and Fridays, between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. If you have questions, please call 313-387-9802.
