Redford Interfaith Relief operates successfully because of dedicated volunteers who are involved in delivering services:
 Receive, check in, and shelf food donations
Organize clothing donations
Do office work, including data entering
Answer telephone and do filing
Assist customers as they come for services!
Help where needed

| QUALIFICATIONS OF A VOLUNTEER
Understand that we are an interfaith organization, and support the mission of Redford Interfaith Relief.
Ability to work with people and as part of a team.
Remember: RIR depends on the contributions of volunteers who believe in the importance of these services and want to share in helping their neighbors. |
| HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Come to the office and complete a Volunteer Application Form. Receive an orientation to our organization and become familiar with our service areas. Either at the time of your visit or through a follow-up contact you will be scheduled for a specific day and time.
Our greatest need for new volunteers is on Tuesdays and Fridays, between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. If you have questions, please call 313-387-9802. |
