The vision of this group was to have churches work together with Redford Township government and Redford Schools to better serve individuals and families facing food emergencies. A board of directors was formed and a director was hired in January, 1998 to initiate a program of emergency food services. Redford Interfaith Relief has been in the forefront of demonstrating what can be accomplished when people work together to meet a community need.
